AS it appears, I have missed my apportunity to attend the Marvelous and spectactular event of Anthrocon... but it is wonderful to hear from our returning Con-attenders!!! I am so happy to hear that these places DO really exist and that people DO have fun in the company of furries!!! I mean, I've never even seen real fursuiters except on TV and in pictures...how incredible it must be... But I guess I am left to attend next years, which we can hope will be just a s magical.

Anyway, working has been out of the picture as well as excessive outdoor activities for the past couple of days as a massive series of cataclysmic fires rage in California, carrying it's choking smoke into the Desert, and obscuring both Oxygen supplies and vision. It's burning my throat and eyes constantly, and I came down with a rather nasty cough. My gas mask won't spare me... My filter's choked with lethal chemicals from using it all summer to extirminate vermin and my makeshifts don't trap particles as small and fine as smoke. BUt the good news is, the wind clears out the valley every day so we have a clear afternoon, and breathe-taking sunsets, but then the night sees more smoke rolling in.

But we did go intertubing! Both in the Trukee river and Power-tubing in Eagle lake. Airsofting canceled due to Smoke.

Tommorow! Happy fourth of July to all who's out there! I'll be traveling to Virginia City to march in the Parade and hang out as our final Celebration. Then , Saturday I board a plane to Texas to Hunt the South African Ibex, and imported creature that makes excellent game and thrives along the dusty plains of the area Between San Antonio and the Rio Grande...temperatures can be expecected to exceed 100 degress farenheit...just like home. The terrain is similar to my house as well, so there will be little if any discomfort. I will be displaying my trophy-kill in the perfect place. I also hear their meat is zesty when served with masquite! SO i'll be bringing back steaks to barbe-q...any one want to join me? Oh, yeah, I forgot, my house is so isolated you'd all run out of gasoline and die of dehydration before I could have you as a guest.. damn. Too bad. (sigh)

But, untill next year, I will keep in close contact AS SOON AS MY MOTHER RETURNS MY FING FLASH DRIVE!!!
